Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Liner Drop mobile game ("Liner Drop", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use it. We've kept it as plain and honest as possible.
1. The short version
- Liner Drop does not require an account, name, email, or login to play.
- Your game progress (levels, coins, unlocked items) is stored locally on your device.
- We show ads through Google AdMob, which may collect a mobile advertising identifier and related technical data to serve and measure ads.
- On supported regions and devices, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
None is required. Liner Drop has no sign-up, no profile, and asks for no personal details to play.
Information collected automatically
Like most free, ad-supported games, certain technical information may be collected automatically through the third-party services we use (primarily our advertising provider). This can include:
- A mobile advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA on iOS);
- Approximate, non-precise location inferred from IP address (for ad relevance and legal compliance);
- Device and technical information such as device model, operating system version, language, and general app-usage and ad-interaction events.
We do not knowingly collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location.
3. How information is used
- To display and measure advertisements (including frequency capping and basic analytics);
- To keep the game working reliably and to understand general performance and crashes;
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising and third-party services
Liner Drop uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob and Google's advertising technologies may process data as described in their own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Our app may also rely on standard platform services provided by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play).
5. Your advertising choices and consent
- Consent (EEA, UK, and similar regions): Where required, we use Google's consent management to ask whether you agree to personalized ads before they are shown. You can reset or change this choice from within the game's settings or by reinstalling.
- iOS App Tracking Transparency: On iOS, the system asks for your permission before any cross-app tracking. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in Settings → Google → Ads.
6. Children's privacy
Liner Drop is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
7. Data storage and retention
Your gameplay progress is stored locally on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. Information processed by our advertising provider is retained according to that provider's own retention policies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses. Because the app itself stores no personal account data, most requests relate to advertising data handled by Google; you can exercise many of these controls directly through the device and Google settings described above. You may also contact us using the details below.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here.
